“Work hard, be kind and amazing things will happen.” The mission statement for Autumn Leaves Senior Living facility is in full swing, but especially this time of year. The residents of Autumn Leaves are holding a food drive to help those less fortunate. The proceeds benefit White Rock Center of Hope. The Center Hope (WRCH), located in East Dallas, is a nonprofit made up of a number of different Christian churches. WRCH strives to make a difference in people’s lives by providing basic human needs, like food, clothing and financial help. The residents at Autumn Leaves are collecting items for WRCH until Nov. 19. To donate, drop off nonperishable food items at 1010 Emerald Isle Drive in Dallas or call 214-328-4161 to arrange for pick up of donated items. — Nancy Black
