Bluebonnets, bands, beer ring in spring

The City of Ennis invites all Texans to the 69th annual Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival, providing festival guests a safe environment to enjoy all of the activities they missed so much in 2020.

The festival kicks off at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 16. Throughout the weekend, there will be unique shopping vendors and fabulous live entertainment, which will have visitors dancing and singing all weekend long. 

Get wild Friday evening with Le Freak, the World’s Greatest Disco band. On Saturday, sing along to “Faithfully,” and “Don’t Stop Believing” with Infinite Journey, an internationally known Journey cover band. The Spazmatics will bring their a high-energy 80s dance party on Sunday to close out the three-day event. “Take On Me,” “Wake Me Up,” and “Come on Eileen” will have everyone busting out their best 80s dance moves. Visitors can also enjoy tasty food, fun kids’ activities and can kick back and relax in the beer and wine garden. 

Safety is the top priority this year. The festival partnered with Epicenter Productions, a world class festival and event production company, to ensure a SAFE event with state of the art technologies facilitating temperature checks, crowd control and other safety procedures. Admission is $5 for adults. Children under 12 are free. There are no pre-sale tickets. Purchase tickets at the gate only. The festival runs from April 16-18 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
