Church welcomes a baroque event

The Orchestra of New Spain (ONS) presents Christmas at Our Redeemer on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Enjoy a refreshing and joyous Christmas celebration with baroque Spanish and New World villancicos (carols) and solo cantatas in this soaring space. A Christmas cantata by Francisco Courcelle will feature an alto solo by Nicolas Garza. Other composers include Spain’s Padre Soler, Cuba’s Esteban Salas, Mexico’s Juan Gutierrez de Padilla, an anonymous Bolivian and Chile’s Alfonso Letelier Llona. For safety, seats are in alternate rows for the masked audience. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
