City still recovering from nature’s wrath

SUPER STORM SUNDAY

Photos by Nancy Black

Seventy-miles per hour straight-line winds caused havoc throughout the City of Dallas this past Sunday. Within minutes of the severe thunderstorm hitting, more than 350,000 homes and businesses lost power, entire trees were uprooted and most street lights stopped working. This trampoline flew from its backyard in East Dallas and was impaled onto three metal sign posts in front of Lake Highlands United Methodist Church. No injuries from the trampoline incident were reported.
