The White Rock Lake Artists Studio Tour Announces its 26th Year! A tradition continues with the annual — and much awaited — White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 13-14.

If you ever wondered how an artist creates art, the tour is a wonderful opportunity to visit artisans in their studios, where the spark of creativity ignites. Witness artists working on their craft, talk to them about their art, and see what they’ve been creating during the past year. It’s a great way to spend a day or two with your kids, as well, where they can learn about all aspects of art in a variety of spaces.

Located in East Dallas neighborhoods near White Rock Lake, this year the tour includes 42 locations, 37 individual art studios and five creative spaces providing classes, exhibits and workshops. The event is a free, self-guided art adventure for every age.

This neighborhood Studio Tour began in 1992 with seven artists and boasts the longest record of welcoming the public in Dallas. Visit the tour website for more details and a map to all studios at whiterockartists.com.
