Exchange Club spruces up Flag Pole Hill

Twenty-two members and guests of The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands gathered at Flag Pole Hill on Saturday, July 27 to perform a general clean up of the area. This included picking up limbs that had fallen in the June storm, mulching flower beds and the removal of many bags of litter. The pavilion also was cleaned, and minor repairs made. Dallas Parks Manager Shana Hamilton spoke to the team members and expressed her appreciation. The Exchange Club meets each Friday morning at 7 a.m. for a breakfast and program at the KayCee Club on Shoreview. Area residents who would like to provide community service are invited to apply.
