Local restaurants ready to do the holiday cooking

By Ariana Hajibashi

Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. But there are enough stressors right now without having to deal with preparing a huge Thanksgiving meal for your family. So, instead of spending all day in the kitchen, let these restaurants do the work for you.

From dine-in seafood feasts to smoked turkeys and briskets to-go, here’s everything you need to make this year’s holiday fun, memorable and relaxing.

Customers can add any other menu item to their meal, including 11 sides, from smoked green beans to bourbon corn. One90 Smoked Meats

One90’s perfectly smoked meats are ready to assist on Thanksgiving Day. Choose from a variety of options, including traditional turkeys available in small and large sizes ranging from 10 to 24 pounds. Or think outside the box with a delicious Whole Brisket, Smoked Beef Tenderloin, Prime Rib or Sliced Spiral Ham. Orders can be placed over the phone or online at one90-smoked-meats.myshopify.com/collections/sunday-special.

Shell Shack

If you’d rather leave the cooking and the cleanup to someone else, stop into Shell Shack. All locations are open on Thanksgiving Day, which means you can enjoy a stress-free meal featuring crab, shrimp, catfish, burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings. For a family-style feast, try The Boil, and you’ll receive a giant, shareable bag to spread on your table. It’s loaded with your choice of the freshest crab, shrimp or crawfish, plus potatoes, corn and sausage — all mixed up with one of the flavorful seasonings and spiced to your preference. Sushi Marquee

For another non-traditional option, head to Sushi Marquee, which will be open Thanksgiving Day.
