Mark your calendar! Second Saturday is coming up on March 13 from 8 a.m. until noon. Join volunteers from For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL) and make new friends. This will be a drive through event. Pick up supplies at the lake office. The necessary supplies (trash grabber, bags and gloves) will be provided and placed in either the trunk or back of your vehicle. In response to the ongoing concern regarding COVID-19, the group strongly encourages social distancing and the wearing of a mask when visiting White Rock Lake. FTLOTL is a nonprofit organization whose volunteers support programs to preserve and enhance White Rock Lake Park. They organize regular clean-up activities, tree planting events, as well as raising money needed to fund improvements to White Rock Lake Park. The office is located at 1152 N. Buckner Blvd., Suite 123 in Dallas, near the corner of Garland Rd. and Buckner Blvd.
