Mint tea reception part of first concert

The Orchestra of New Spain’s (ONS) first concert of the new season will transport patrons to Medieval Spain with its La Convivencia III — Music & Poetry of Medieval Spain’s Christians, Muslims & Sephardi on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. with a Mint Tea reception in Zion Lutheran Church. The Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs is the principal sponsor for this concert and for two free presentations of the concert in Thanks-Giving Square, 1627 Pacific Ave., on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. in Fretz Park Library at 6990 Belt Line Rd. The ONS is a 36-member orchestra and chorus dedicated to the exploration of Spanish baroque music.
