“Of course, this is bittersweet news,” says Peter Kenny whom along with wife Cheryl also own and operate The Dubliner on Greenville Avenue. “However, we have always wanted to own and design our own property and with our Capitol Pub lease at a crossroads, we are excited to make the leap to East Dallas with Lochland’s.”

“The menu will showcase the most popular brunch and dinner dishes from the Capitol Pub menu as well as reintroducing some former favorites from The Gin Mill,” adds Cheryl. “We’re really excited about the new space and menu.”

The Kenny’s purchased the stand-alone building (formerly a veterinary clinic) earlier this year and have gutted and reconstructed the building that had been vacant for several years.

Lochland’s is located at 8518 Plano Road at the intersection of Lake Highlands Drive and Northwest Highway in Lake Highlands.
