The Arboretum autumn festival has been named one of “the best pumpkin picking experiences in the country” by TripAdvisor and “One of The World’s 15 Most Breathtaking Gardens” by Architectural Digest. This year, the Dallas Arboretum’s festival highlights “The Adventures in Neverland,” featuring scenes from the beloved book, Peter and Wendy, Sept. 22 to Nov. 21. The garden offers many festival discounts and invites the public to take advantage of these offers by visiting often and ushering in fall with a great deal.
“With these discounts, we invite everyone to come more than once to see the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village and surrounding displays created with a record-breaking 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash,” said Mary Brinegar, president of the Dallas Arboretum. “You can take pictures at one of the most photographed locations in the south, and bring or purchase food to enjoy among the chrysanthemums and marigolds.”
Exciting activities take place in the main garden as well as in the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden during the festival. Visit dallasarboretum.org/autumn to see daily schedules of activities. — Krista Bruton
