Pop up market part of Pride in Bloom

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden celebrates LGBTQ Pride Month in the garden. Guests are invited on Saturday, June 11 to savor items in the curated local Pride Pop-up Market in the Main Garden entry plaza. They may also visit the new mural installation featuring artists MOM and Will Heron, who are creating custom Birds in Paradise-inspired works.

A highlight, carried over from Dallas Blooms, includes a massive pair of 13-foot-tall floral peacocks featuring ornately planted tails measuring more than 36 feet across. Guests can bring their own picnic and settle into the Dallas Voice’s Reader’s Voice award winner for Best Public Space, for a day of celebrating with friends and family.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Pop up Market — Main Garden Entry Plaza

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Pride floral selfie wall created by 21 Parc Floral & Design.

12-2 p.m. Scott Ayers live piano music — Jeanne’s Pavilion.

2 p.m. Lake Highlands School of Music — Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn.
