Studio 6 Fitness, the largest and oldest Megaformer studio in Texas, held a ribbon cutting with the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of its fourth location in Lakewood at the Arboretum Village.
The studio offers signature full-body workouts that challenge and improve strength, endurance and flexibility. The 50-minute exercise class is one of the most sought-after celebrity workouts and the hottest fitness trend in 2018.
Studio 6 Fitness opened its 2,975-square-foot Lakewood studio with group exercise classes on 14 Megaformers, a training room for private instruction, showers and a lifestyle boutique offering a selection of high-end fitness and athleisure apparel and unique gifts.
“This low-impact, high intensity workout is being named the ‘royal workout’ because it’s the same one that Meghan Markle (engaged to Prince Harry) does, as well as many celebrities, athletes and super models,” said Elizabeth Lindberg (above, with scissors), founder, owner and trainer of Studio 6 Fitness.
Founded in 2012 by Lindberg, Studio 6 Fitness provides the most efficient, high intensity, low impact 50-minute workouts designed to achieve greater muscle definition. Studio 6 Fitness’ mission is to inspire and strengthen clients through its six guiding principles of Core, Strength, Flexibility, Balance, Endurance and Spirit, which are incorporated in every move during each intense workout.
“Because of the demand from clients who live and work in East Dallas, we’re expanding to make this incredible workout more convenient for them, as well as anybody else who wants to start out the new year with a new routine,” Lindberg said.
“We have a very diverse clientele of differing ages, fitness levels and backgrounds. Our studios allow us to adapt and fit within our clients’ busy lifestyles and schedules. Plus, our new location next to White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum, where many already exercise, makes it a perfect place for Studio 6 Fitness. We are committed to providing a welcoming and fun environment that not only strengthens the body but also lifts the spirit and the mind. We are excited to be in East Dallas and are dedicated to building strong communities by growing stronger together, one client at a time.”
