Economic forum huge success

The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce (GEDCC) hosted its 15^th  Annual Economic Summit Presented by CC Young on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Doubletree by Hilton Campbell Centre. This year’s Keynote Speakers were the well-known Entrepreneurial Power Couple — Alexa Conomos and Bradley Anderson. Bringing years of experience and dedication to their careers and the business community, Alexa and Bradley focused their conversation on their background, entrepreneurial journey, the transition/balance of having a “day job” and an “entrepreneurial endeavor,” plus a few inside secrets on their life together. 

Combining the East Dallas community’s dedication to education, growth, the work force and development, this year’s Economic Summit centered around the theme “East Dallas Works …” 

Also presenting were three new City Council Members: Paula Blackmon, David Blewett and Adam Baladuza along with Mayor Pro Tem Adam McGough. Other speakers included Steve Brown, real estate editor for The Dallas Morning News and Pia Orrenius, vp/senior economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
