Family tragedy leads to call for assistance

Visitors to Greenville Avenue Pizza Company throughout the past few years have surely been greeted with a smile by David Stigall. The kind, hardworking manager makes GAPCo one of the best spots in Dallas to eat and also to work. Sadly, Stigall unexpectedly lost his wife Ashley on Christmas Day, and Stigall’s three children lost their beloved mother. GAPCo wants to help its friend during this incredibly difficult time and encourages all who can to do the same. On January 13, GAPCo donated 50 percent of its sales at both locations (Greenville Ave. and Peavy Rd.) to David and his family. The restaurant joined forces with Goodfriend Beer Garden, Goodfriend Package and One90 Smoked Meats, who also donated a percentage of sales on that day. This win-win netted some great food while, most importantly, helping a man who’s meant so much to Dallas’ dining community. In addition, a GoFundMe has been established for the Stigall family.
