More families volunteering to help

The For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL) office will be open on Saturday, July 9 at 8 a.m. for a drive-thru only (do not get out of your vehicle) Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up event. Bring your family, a group or come solo, but be sure to stop by the office first for supplies. To pick up supplies, come to 1152 N. Buckner Blvd. Suite #123 in Dallas. Volunteers will put the supplies needed in either the trunk or back of vehicles to maintain social distancing to the extent possible. The trash grabbers (litter sticks) will be sanitized before being placed in your vehicle. Volunteers should always wear gloves while picking up lake trash and stay well hydrated while working outside in the extreme heat. Volunteers are asked to return trash grabbers to the FTLOTL office no later than noon.
