Supporters honored

The Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center (FBHCC) had a welcoming reception Saturday, May 20 honoring Pat and Milford Hammerbacher (pictured above, center couple). The Hammerbacher’s art fund has supported many of the programs at the Bath House, including the Family Art Bash, International Children’s Day, Spring Camp and Summer Camp, among others. They also helped fund the publication of the popular “Honk” storybook and activity book and the subsequent “Honk” documentary film. The Hammerbachers met many of their fund’s recipients for the first time during Saturday’s reception. FBHCC have just wrapped up the publication of “Lumi’s First Mola” storybook, also sponsored through the Hammerbacher’s fund. The book will be distributed to area schools, in the Dallas Museum of Art bookstore and at friendsofthebathhouse.org. — Teresa Bond
