Congregation welcomes new pastor

St. Mark Presbyterian Church welcomes Rev. Dr. Paul M. Burns (pictured) as its new pastor. Rev. Burns began his service at St. Mark on Tuesday, Aug. 1. His first Sunday in the pulpit is Sunday, Aug. 6.  St. Mark was a divine idea from the heart of God, carried out through willing and obedient servants 70 years ago. The congregation looks forward to carrying on under Rev. Burns’ ministry and leadership with its mission statement, which states, “St. Mark Presbyterian Church exists to know Jesus and to make Him known.” Members of the community are invited to attend worship services beginning at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays. The church is located at 9999 Ferguson Rd. in Dallas.
