Stadium architect to keynote summit

The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce (GEDCC) will host its 19th Annual Economic Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Lakewood Country Club, 1912 Abrams Rd. in Dallas. This year’s Keynote Speaker is sports stadium architect and Oak Cliff native Bryan Trubey (pictured), of Overland Partners. Trubey is known for designing some of the world’s most memorable, recognizable and critically acclaimed sports and entertainment facilities. The former HKS architect is now working with Overland Partners to redesign Dallas’ Fair Park and uplift its surrounding neighborhoods. The morning includes a seated breakfast, followed by speaker introductions and a Q&A session. Throughout the summit, participants will hear from event sponsors and have the opportunity to network with other East Dallas professionals. Individual tickets are $65.
