The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden held its seventh annual Food and Wine Festival on March 21 with nearly 1,500 guests attending despite the rain. About 45 chefs served their specialty dishes such as Japanese sushi, Mexican elote and mini fish tacos, Thai fried rice, mouthwatering desserts and more.
Chef Chair Sharon Van Meter and On Brand Hospitality’s Adrian Verdin welcomed attendees and chefs at the VIP reception. These guests sampled delectable dishes from Georgie’s, JOSE, Knife Restaurant Group Dallas, Monarch Restaurant, NOSA Restaurant & Inn and Sushi Rock. They also sipped champagne displayed artfully on a wall and other beverages.
Additional chefs cooked and served guests in Rosine Hall, Rosine Terrace, Rosewood Tent, Entry Plaza Tents and the Visitor Education Pavilion. The beverage selection was vast —specialty cocktails, mock-tails, beers and ales and wine.
