Continuing its mission to help young people find success and hone their athletic skills, the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center will host the Tim Martin Basketball Clinic on Friday, Aug. 9, for boys and girls ages 6-17. Designed for budding to advanced student athletes, the co-ed clinic will offer two classes from 10-11 a.m. (ages 6-12) and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (ages 13-17). Registration is required, and space is limited. The clinic will be led by basketball savant Tim Martin — who has trained NBA standouts including Tyrese Maxey, Trae Young, Dwayne Wade, P.J. Washington, Melvin Ajinça and now Victor Wembanyam — along with his team of coaches. The sessions will offer instruction focused on shooting, rebounding, dribbling, passing, defensive tactics and team concepts — all in a fun, positive and fast-paced environment. The Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center is located at 1800 Bonnie View Rd., Dallas, TX 75216. Cost to attend the Tim Martin Basketball Clinic is $10 for students who are enrolled in Heroes programs and $50 for students who are not enrolled.
