The year 2024 has been a remarkable year for the Chamber, with increased engagement, an innovative suite of benefits and significant growth, especially in Lake Highlands. The success is a testament to the dedication of countless volunteers. Among them, one name stood out for their extraordinary efforts and trailblazing impact: Staci Schofield.

“As I considered who should receive this year’s Chairman’s Award, one name kept coming to mind,” Chairman of the Board Chuck Kobdish, D.C. said. “Staci stood out among many others, not because others weren’t deserving, but because her contributions have already shaped and will continue to shape the future of our Chamber and our community.”

Since joining the Chamber in 2023, Schofield has exemplified what it means to go above and beyond. Relaunching the Young Professionals Group was a top priority for 2024, and Schofield saw this initiative as an opportunity to step up. Under her leadership as chair, the group flourished, hosting over a dozen successful events that strengthened  community ties and provided meaningful networking and mentoring opportunities for those under 40. Thanks to her ability to secure sponsorships, these events were entirely self-funded.

Schofield’s commitment to the Chamber goes far beyond event planning. Her boundless energy, fresh ideas and clear vision have reinvigorated the organization, ensuring its sustainability for years to come. Her efforts have not only increased membership but also cultivated future leaders.

Outside the Chamber, Schofield’s passion for service shines. She is a top-performing sales representative at Lamar Advertising Co., earning numerous accolades for her work.

She is also a devoted “Big Sister” to Sofia, an eighth grader at J.L. Long Middle School, a role she has cherished for six years.

Beginning in January, Schofield will join the Chamber’s Board of Directors, where her leadership and dedication will undoubtedly continue to make a difference.

It is with great pride that the Chamber presents the 2024 Chairman’s Award to Staci Schofield, a true force for good in the Chamber and community.
