The White Rock Lake Foundation (WRLF) will host its “Jewel of Dallas” Gala on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Hall of State at Fair Park. The VIP reception is from 6-6:30 p.m., followed by an evening of food, drinks, music, live and silent auction benefiting White Rock Lake, the Jewel of Dallas. WRLF recently completed Phase I of the major improvement project for Winfrey Point, one of the key facilities at White Rock Lake. Members of WRLF are anxious to start on Phase II and Phase III, which will take in the parking lot and landscaping, and the funds raised from the Gala are earmarked for these improvements.
