Garden debuts unexpected holiday getaway

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden announces the debut of the Mistletoe Lounge, opening to the public on December 14. This all-new 21+ pop-up bar experience premieres during Holiday at the Arboretum, presented by Reliant, offering adults a sophisticated retreat within the gardens and a fresh way to enjoy one of Dallas’ most beloved holiday traditions.

Located with a sweeping view of Night Glow by AURORA, The Arboretum’s new immersive light installation, the Mistletoe Lounge blends festive ambiance with curated cocktails, private seating, and exclusive guest perks. The concept was developed in response to visitor feedback seeking more elevated, adult-focused experiences and unique offerings that encourage return visits throughout the season.

Visitors to the Mistletoe Lounge can expect:

• A curated holiday bar menu featuring seasonal cocktails, sparkling refreshments, and warm beverages.

• Exclusive lounge access with private seating areas ideal for date nights, group outings, or a relaxed escape from the crowds.

• Striking views of Night Glow by AURORA, illuminating the garden in motion and color after dark.

• Festive giveaways and surprise enhancements throughout the season.

The Mistletoe Lounge opens December 14 and runs through January 4 on select evenings of Holiday at the Arboretum and requires a separate add-on ticket, available in limited quantities. The event runs through January 4, 2026.
