Get ready to experience the heartbeat of the community at the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s (GEDCC) biggest event of the year, MEET East Dallas, held on Wednesday, March 4, from 5-7 p.m. at Caddo Office Reimagined Lakewood. This high-energy, free community showcase is brought to you by City Credit Union, Dallas Piano Academy and Seniors Helping Seniors. This event brings the best of the neighborhood together under one roof, featuring savory samples from local favorites like Hugs Café, Westlake Brewing and White Rock Alehouse & Brewery. While visitors browse interactive booths from a wide array of lifestyle, wellness and professional service providers, a live jazz band from the Lake Highlands School of Music will provide an upbeat soundtrack for the evening. A major highlight of this year’s event is a massive art exhibition curated by the GEDCC Arts and Cultural Committee, debuting 80 original works by 27 East Dallas artists as part of a mission to champion local creators.
