Baronet’s work explores themes of healing, transformation and the resilience of the human spirit through expressive figurative imagery and richly layered surfaces. The retrospective brings together paintings and drawings spanning the artist’s career, offering viewers a comprehensive look at the evolution of her artistic practice.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Baronet began her creative career after working internationally for two decades as a fashion model throughout Europe and Japan. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in communications arts from East Texas A&M University in Commerce in 1995.

Following her studies, Baronet worked as a graphic designer and art director for Neiman Marcus and David Carter Design Studio while continuing to develop her painting practice in her studio.

During the past 30 years, her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is held in private and corporate collections across the United States, including the Hilton Anatole Hotel and Children’s Hospital in Dallas.

For five years, Baronet also served in the Healing Arts as Artist-in-Residence at Methodist Richardson Cancer Center, where she developed a series of large graphite drawings exploring healing and the emotional landscape of illness and recovery.

The exhibition’s featured work, Mother Mary’s Wings, a 40 inch x 49 inch graphite and acrylic drawing on Coventry rag, exemplifies Baronet’s powerful combination of technical precision and emotional depth.

Artwork from the exhibition will be available for purchase through Eventbrite, with 20 percent of sales benefiting First United Methodist Church of Dallas.
