Live DJ spins in tax free weekend

The Shops at Park Lane will celebrate Tax Free Weekend with two back-to-back events to keep families entertained while shopping tax-free for essential back to school items. On Saturday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 9, guests can enjoy free family fun, activities, entertainment and treats at the Lawn near the new Tesla test drive stations and Starbucks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To kick off the weekend, Saturday’s event will include a free kid’s craft station hosted by Crafty Party Dallas. Families can keep cool with misting stations and free Frios Gourmet Pops, and dance to music from a live DJ. On Sunday, Aug. 9, kids can enjoy a free sensory play experience hosted by My Festi Goodies and a relaxing sensory-friendly acoustic music set. Misting stations will be set up across the lawn along with free shaved ice from Kona Ice.
