2019 Wine on the Roof offers online bidding

East Lake Pet Orphanage (ELPO), a Dallas-based, no kill animal shelter, announced the Orphanage’s 18th Annual Wine on the Roof fundraiser will be held Saturday, May 18, beginning at 7 p.m. at East Lake Pet Orphanage, located at 10101 E. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75238. 

As the largest fundraiser of the year for East Lake Pet Orphanage, Wine on the Roof 2019: Paws Vegas features a fun Las Vegas themed Pet Fashion Show, the Parade of Orphans, plus a ticketed cocktail bar, wines paired with gourmet food, live and online auctions. 

This year LeeAnne Locken from the “Real Housewives of Dallas” is the award winner for the John LaBella Award, created in honor of the late John LaBella, an animal lover and one of Dallas’ most respected radio personalities. The annual award is given to a person who has shown compassion toward animals and has focused the attention of the public on responsible animal care. 

Making a return this year is an online/silent auction, which allows guests both near and far to bid on items, even if they are not at the event. Visit wineontheroof.com for more information.
