The Lake Highlands Chamber of Commerce recently announced its annual Business Awards. Terri Hoover (pictured below) of Artistik Edge received the Small Business of the Year award. Nonprofit of the Year went to both the Exchange Club for its generous scholarship program and to Feed Lake Highlands. Business of the Year was Rooster Home and Hardware (pictured above) for its dedication to community.
Restaurant of the Year went to JJ’s Cafe in Lake Highlands. New Business of the Year was Shady’s Burgers and Brewhaha. Rick Wamre and the Lake Highlands Advocate received The Legacy Award, which is presented for a business’ long-term commitment to the community.
