Trainers needed for upcoming elections

Election years require great efforts from the Dallas County Elections Department (DCED). With the new SB 1 passed by Texas Legislature, there is some voting confusion, which needs to be clarified. The DCED trains all Early Voting and Election Day judges and clerks working to serve voters and is seeking people who can serve as trainers. This is a temporary position, running from Jan. 31 to Feb. 24. Trainers will have two days of training and have hands-on access to the voting machines to familiarize themselves with the equipment. The ideal trainer should have teaching or work training experience, be prompt, dependable, able to stand for a few hours at a time, have a clear and audible voice, interact well with questions and answers and communicate well.
