Annual artists’ tour welcomes new talent

The 33rd Annual White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour is on October 10 and 11 this year. The tour highlights artists who live and work in neighborhoods in the White Rock Lake area. This year’s tour includes 34 studios and three art center/schools presenting work in varying stages of production. The artists delight in discussing their ideas, processes and the materials they use with their visitors. Guests can expect to see some demonstrations of work in progress at many studios. Organizers are welcoming seven new artists this year. The mission of the tour is to open connections and enhance understanding about art and artists who work in the community as well as seeking camaraderie with other tour and art organizations throughout East Dallas.
