Dallas 24 Hour Club (The 24) — a nonprofit that provides transitional living, support services, and essential life skills for homeless alcoholics and addicts so they can embrace long-term sobriety and become contributing and self-supporting members of the community — received the prestigious Nonprofit of the Year award at the Center for Nonprofit’s Management’s “A Night of Light Awards Ceremony” in early November. The Nonprofit of the Year award is given to the nonprofit that has demonstrated a strong performance across the following nomination categories: data-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Winning the Nonprofit of the Year award is a testament to the commitment and excellence of The 24 in utilizing data collection, statistics and outcomes across four key areas. Receiving the award is a milestone in The 24’s journey during the past two to three years showcasing their dedication to utilizing statistics and data effectively. — Brynn Bagot
