With less than 105 days until the 2023 State Fair of Texas, our 55-foot-tall cowboy is looking to hire thousands of seasonal Tex Team members to welcome the masses to the most Texan place on Earth. Known for celebrating all things Texan, seasonal team members are essential to greeting fairgoers worldwide with our signature Texantude. The Fair provides more than 7,000 seasonal job opportunities every year, with approximately 2,200 people employed directly by the State Fair of Texas. The starting wage for job openings paid by the State Fair of Texas in 2023 is $17.82/hour, a 17 percent increase from the previous $15.21/hour in 2022.
