Block party set for 4/20

Join neighbors and sample some of Lakewood’s local restaurants, artisans and local businesses at the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s Building Blocks to be held on Wednesday, April 20 at Caddo Office Reimagined at 6301 Gaston Avenue from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This event is open to the public, family-friendly and free to attend. There will be food, drinks and wares from local vendors. Local businesses will have displays and special offers for attendees. Adult beverages will be provided by Times Ten Cellars along with food samplings from Cava, DELEON PROVISIONS, Fajita Pete’s and Liberty Burger, among others. This is the first of many events planned for different areas of East Dallas. — Deborah Brown
