Brandt ready to lead Travis Academy to more success

William B. Travis Vanguard and Academy announced its new principal this week. Tom Brandt comes to Travis from Preston Hollow Elementary, where he had served as principal since 2014. While at Preston Hollow, Brandt led the campus through the four-year process to become an International Baccalaureate World school. The school also earned both a letter grade of “A” by the state as well as the highest possible district rating of “Accomplished.” Previously, he served as an assistant principal at Townview and W.T. White High School. He completed the Art of Leadership Training at Harvard in the summer of 2018. — Lisa Gilliam
