By land or lake, it’s time to help

It’s time for the Second Saturday Clean-Up of White Rock Lake. Sponsored by For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL), a nonprofit group dedicated to keeping our lake clean, the event is on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8 a.m. Because of the global COVID-19 pandemic, strict guidelines will be in place for volunteers wishing to help. The Dallas Park and Recreation Department (DPARD) is allowing the FTLOTL office to open for a drive through only event (do not get out of your vehicle) to pick up supplies for a restricted cleanup service program.
