Charlotte Martin Bridges

October 15, 1930 to December 27, 2025

Charlotte passed peacefully on to her reunion with many in heaven on December 27, 2025. She was surrounded by all three daughters: Rebecca Bridges of Dallas, Deborah Gil of San Antonio and Marelyn Shedd of Abilene, Texas. Celebration of life service was held on Friday, January 3 at FBC, Chapel, Abilene.

She, along with her husband Julian, dedicated her life to ministering to many in Mexico City and in Abilene, Texas. She was one of the first female deacons elected in First Baptist Church and served for years in work with children, homeless, mission churches and more. 

Family living in Dallas include her daughter Rebecca, her grown granddaughters Suzanne Bush and Callie Rayshell and a great grandson, Warren. And in Austin, Granddaughter Teagan Whitney and great granddaughter Juniper.
