Chefs prepare for All-Star Classic

Dallas 24 Hour Club (“The 24”), a Dallas nonprofit providing transitional living, recovery support and essential life skills for individuals overcoming addiction and homelessness, will present the 13th Annual Dallas All Star Chef Classic on Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Longhorn Ballroom.

What began as a culinary fundraiser has grown into a signature fall event, bringing together leading chefs, philanthropists and community leaders for an evening of exceptional cuisine, live entertainment and meaningful impact. The VIP Reception begins at 5 p.m., followed by the main event from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Proceeds from tickets and sponsorships directly support Dallas 24 Hour Club and the programs that help Residents build long-term sobriety, stability and independence through transitional living, structured recovery support, career development, technology training, financial coaching and other essential life skills.

“The Dallas All Star Chef Classic has grown tremendously over the past 13 years, but the heart of the evening has always remained the same,” said Tim Grigsby, CEO of Dallas 24 Hour Club and a former Resident. “It is about bringing people together to create A Brand New Start for individuals working courageously to rebuild their lives.”

The 2026 event is chaired by Amy and Bruce Williams, Georgia Henley and Lily Henley, who are serving in memory of their beloved son and brother, Trevor Henley. Trevor faced addiction with courage and heart, and Dallas 24 Hour Club was a place of hope for him and his family.

“Our family chose to chair this year’s Dallas All Star Chef Classic because we believe every person deserves the opportunity to rebuild their life with dignity, support and hope,” the family said. “It is a privilege to help advance the mission of Dallas 24 Hour Club while honoring our beloved son and brother, Trevor Henley, through an evening that celebrates community, compassion and recovery.”

Guests will have the opportunity to sample dishes from approximately 24 chef stations throughout the Longhorn Ballroom.

The event also celebrates the continued growth of Dallas 24 Hour Club’s services, including Trevor’s Place, which opened in late 2025. Named in Trevor’s honor, Trevor’s Place offers structured programming including career support, financial coaching, recovery and wellness classes, technology training and access to resources that help Residents build stability. Thus far in 2026, an average of 120 Residents per month have participated in services and programming through Trevor’s Place.
