Children of the American Revolution to hold memorial

The David Pendleton Society of the Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) President Rose Hlavenka, a junior at Bishop Lynch High School, announced the upcoming National Project “American Living Legacy.” It will be observed during the State Fair of Texas on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. A program of remembrance and honor will be held at the Texas Vietnam Memorial near the front of Fair Park. All veterans and their families are invited for the wreath placement ceremony. Senior Sponsor Mrs. Pat Williams directs the projects of this C.A.R. Society. The Dallas Chapter Sons of the American Revolution and Jane Douglas Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution are sponsors.
