On Monday, July 4, buildings supporting the nonprofit group Honors Our Heroes will Light Up Downtown Dallas in red, white and blue as a symbol of hope, gratitude and respect for police, fire-rescue and military. This luminous, powerful lighting display has been designed to embody steadfast support for these heroes. Additionally, in honor and memory of the five Dallas police officers slain downtown in 2016, the buildings will light up blue again on Thursday, July 7. — Delia Clayton
