Community supports Dallas CASA’s mission

Dallas CASA friends and supporters, gathered beneath NorthPark Center’s iconic Ad Astra sculpture to thank the 2026 playhouse creators and celebrate the final weekend of the 31st annual Parade of Playhouses at The Closing Party. 

As guests enjoyed refreshments from Breadwinners, they reflected on another successful year of imaginative playhouse designs that delighted thousands of visitors while raising awareness for children living in foster care.

 Parade of Playhouses remains Dallas CASA’s most important source of volunteer referrals at a time when the need for advocates is increasingly urgent and continuing to grow. “Nothing we do all year gets us as many volunteers as Parade of Playhouses,” said CEO Kathleen M. LaValle. Presented by Crest Auto Group for the 12th consecutive year and hosted by NorthPark Center for the 31st year, the event brought together the community in support of Dallas CASA’s vision that every child experiences a safe, loving and hopeful childhood.
