Dallas ISD Board of Trustees Dan Micciche, District 3

The spring semester is in full swing, and I am proud to celebrate District 3’s students, team members and community. Their hard work and commitment to excellence is paving the way for student success and opportunities.

School Zone is back

Dallas ISD is bringing back two cherished TV programs: School Zone Dallas and Zona Escolar de Dallas. Hosted by our students, this series will provide a unique perspective into the various Dallas ISD programs while showcasing student voices and stories. The first episodes premiered on Feb. 3 and will run on Saturdays through March 9 at 5 p.m. on NBC. They can also be found in the district’s YouTube channel.

February is Career and Technical Education Month

Career and Technical Education programs at Dallas ISD prepare students to succeed in their education and careers and set them up to flourish in a global, dynamic economy through leadership, advocacy, and partnerships. They are dedicated to helping students prepare for a career field where they will earn a living wage that offers advancement and lifelong learning opportunities after graduation.
