Deep Ellum seeks music photographers

The Deep Ellum Foundation is inviting local photographers to be part of a unique public art moment. More than 200 streetlight pole banners throughout the Deep Ellum Cultural District will soon showcase concert photography that captures the electric energy of live music in the neighborhood. This open call, themed “Live Music Lens,” honors Deep Ellum’s deep-rooted history as the live music capital of Dallas, from the days of Blind Lemon Jefferson to today’s rising stars. Selected images will be printed and showcased on streetlight banners in the neighborhood and will debut during the third annual Deep Ellum Block Party this fall.
