During the height of Dallas Blooms, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden hosts its seventh annual Food & Wine Festival on Thursday, March 21 from 7-9 p.m. The event features close to 50 top local chefs serving delectable small plates along with 100 varieties of wines, local beers and specialty beverages. On Brand Hospitality’s Adrian Verdin, who is working on the event, said: “Adding to the excitement are three chefs who have been named James Beard semifinalists and expected to attend. They include Chef Misti Norris of Petra and The Beast, Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman of José and Chef Regino Rojas of Purepecha. Plus, to pair with the food, we will have several dozen wineries featuring more than 100 varieties, thanks to Southern Glazers.” General admission tickets are still available and selling fast. General admission is $149 per person, and doors open at 7 p.m. Registration and tickets are on sale now online at dallasarboretum.org/events-activities/food-and-wine-festival. — Terry Lendecker
