Dallas 24 Hour Club (“The 24”) hosted its third Annual Fore The 24 Golf Tournament, bringing together supporters, community leaders and advocates for a meaningful day on the course benefiting individuals rebuilding their lives through recovery. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, players and supporters, the tournament surpassed its fundraising goal, raising $224,000 to support Residents who are in recovery and working to regain stability and independence.

Led by Chair Gilbert Freeman and Honorary Chairs Craig Dunlap and Todd Kalen, the event highlighted Dallas 24 Hour Club’s mission to provide transitional living, support services and essential life skills for homeless alcoholics and addicts, helping them embrace long-term sobriety and become contributing and self-supporting members of the community.

Funds raised from the tournament will provide a full year of life skills programming and supportive services for Residents at Dallas 24 Hour Club, helping individuals increase their earning potential, gain stability and develop the tools needed to live independently and successfully in recovery.

“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support shown at this year’s Fore The 24 Golf Tournament,” said Tim Grigsby, CEO of Dallas 24 Hour Club. “Every dollar raised helps provide life-changing support and opportunities for individuals committed to rebuilding their lives through recovery. It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful day.”

Each year, Dallas 24 Hour Club helps more than 600 men and women get off the streets, find employment, reconnect with family members, learn to live independently and recover from alcohol and drug addiction.
