Garden salutes military members

Join the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for Veteran’s Day Weekend on Nov. 7, 8 and 11. All active duty and retired military personnel receive complimentary admission with ID. Timed tickets must be reserved by calling 214-515-6615. No walk-ups allowed. Face coverings are required for all guests age 5 and older for the duration of visit, except while dining or if medically unable to do so. Veteran’s Day-themed activities will take place in the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden. A Tasteful Place is offering a cooking demonstration with Empanada Cookhouse at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.
