The SPCA of Texas will host the 21st annual Strut Your Mutt, The Walk to End Animal Cruelty, which features a 2.5 mile fun walk, Saturday, March 28, at Fair Park (3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas, 75210). Day of Event registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Big Tex Circle, with the walk starting at 8:30 a.m. Registration is open online now at gostrut.org.

“The Committee this year is a great mix of animal lovers from all walks of life,” said Strut Your Mutt Chair Stephen Enda, who also chaired the 2025 Race to End Animal Cruelty. “I know that working together, we will create a Strut Your Mutt event that will appeal to almost anyone in North Texas!”
“Strut Your Mutt is an important part of early springtime in North Texas — an active event that brings families together with other animal lovers to support vulnerable pets,” said SPCA of Texas President & CEO Chris Luna, J.D. “This year’s fun walk will raise important funds to rehabilitate and reintroduce abused animals to the world as socialized and adoptable pets. Every week our Animal Cruelty and Investigations (ACI) Unit is called upon to help mistreated animals in our region. In the past 10 months, the ACI Unit has investigated more than 330 cruelty cases in North Texas.
“Once rescued from dire situations, the animals are examined and treated by our compassionate and expert medical and behavioral care teams, while our investigators work to make a solid criminal case against alleged perpetrators of inhumane treatment,” Luna added. “And we are thrilled that so many walkers bring their pups to walk with them in support of our programs.”
Registration cost for the Walk is $40 (including fees); kids age 11 and under are free. Participants can register individually or as a team at gostrut.org, and will receive a Strut T-shirt and pet bandana.
