Anyone can share the gift of life! White Rock Medical Center and Carter BloodCare will host a blood drive to collect much needed blood donations on Tuesday, Dec. 27 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Donors will receive a fleece blanket while supplies last. The holidays are the most difficult time to secure blood donations for patients — but the holidays also are a time of greatest need! 

Hospitals use blood in the course of treatments and procedures for those who are sick or injured. Blood donations are needed for transfusions during surgery, overcoming blood loss and treatment for certain diseases. Walk-ins are welcome or you can save time in line by scheduling an appointment.
