Heart & Sole run benefits recovery

Attorneys Serving the Community (ASC) is hosting their 13th annual ASC Heart & Sole 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Fun Run benefits Nexus Recovery Center and their mission to serve as a community of hope and sobriety for all women and their families who strive to live healthy, resilient lives. The run is from 7:30-11 a.m. at Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake, 950 E. Lawther Dr. in Dallas. After the race, a breakfast will be served with live music and family-friendly activities. Participants can enjoy the children’s area with a bounce house, face painters and a balloon artist. Sign-ups are welcomed until race day and can be completed on the Heart & Sole website, heartandsole5k.com. — Kimber Westphall
