Iconic hospital sold

Pipeline Health has reached an agreement with Heights Healthcare of Texas, LLC, to purchase White Rock Medical Center in Dallas. The sale is expected to close on or before Monday, Oct. 2. Led by Dr. Mirza Baig, a neurosurgeon, Heights Healthcare of Texas has a team of seasoned experts in the field of facilities management. They oversee several surgical and acute care facilities in the Houston area, as well as DFW Surgical Hospital located in Hurst, Texas. Patients will see no changes in scheduled appointments, surgeries or hospital contacts as Heights Healthcare assumes ownership of White Rock Medical Center. Importantly, Heights Healthcare plans to assume the hospital’s multi-year contract with Paragon to implement a new electronic health record system.
